Greetings! I'm Kristan, a photographer originating from the Midwest, where I fostered a passion for capturing people and places through the lens of my 35mm camera. While I am a lover of almost all artistic mediums, none have captivated me quite like photography. An introvert at heart, the camera bestowed upon me a unique power – the ability to be both observer and explorer  without the feeling of displacement. Years later, I would earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ball State University. Today, I specialize in portraiture and event photography, but still enjoy film/instamatic cameras and experimenting with different techniques, especially double exposure. While technologies and processes change, one thing remains true for me - the photograph is an enchanting medium that possesses a quality akin to magic. It serves as a temporal sanctuary, capable of transporting one instantaneously to a cherished moment, time, or place.
